The Black Friday email is scheduled. The ads are approved. Your campaign page still says “Coming soon.”
Someone has to change it when the sale starts. If that person publishes early, shoppers see an offer they cannot use yet. If they publish late, the email sends them to a page that has not caught up.
For teams running a Hydrogen storefront with Weaverse, Scheduled Publishing lets you prepare a page version and choose when it goes live. The work happens while there is still time to review it. At launch, you can check the result instead of editing the headline with the clock running.
Decide what shoppers should see when the sale opens
Start with the page your Black Friday email will link to. Write down what needs to change between the page shoppers see now and the version they should see during the sale.
For example, a campaign page might move from:
Black Friday starts Friday. Come back for the offers.
To:
Black Friday is live. Shop selected offers through Monday.
The sale version should tell shoppers which products qualify, how to claim the offer, and when it ends.
Check the rest of that page too. A new headline above an old teaser button still leaves shoppers guessing. Review the hero image, button text, destination links, and any copy that explains how to get the offer.
Keep this first scheduled change to one page. A homepage banner, navigation link, and campaign page may all belong to the same promotion, but do not assume scheduling one page updates the others.
Give each remaining change an owner and a launch time.
Get the page ready while your team is available
On a Weaverse storefront, your developers define the components and their editable settings. Your team uses those components to prepare the campaign content in the visual editor. The component code stays in your developers’ repository; the content you edit is managed in Weaverse. Weaverse’s campaign workflow explains that division of work.
Use the sections your storefront already supports. If the campaign needs a new interaction or component, bring your agency or developer into the work early enough to build and test it.
Before scheduling, review the page with the person who can approve the offer. Check it on a phone as well as desktop. Follow each button’s link and read the offer terms on the page.
Check that the page explains the offer to someone who never saw the email.
Keep the approved preview and launch details in the campaign ticket. If your agency prepares the page and your team schedules it, record who owns that final step.
Schedule the approved page version
In Weaverse Studio:
-
Finish your campaign-page edits. Complete the changes before opening Schedule publish. Studio prepares the saved snapshot before you choose the publish date and time.
-
Open the Publish / Save draft menu. Click the arrow beside the main action button in the top bar, then choose Schedule publish.

-
Choose the date and time. Times use your browser’s local time zone. Convert the campaign’s launch time before confirming if your team works in another time zone.

-
Select Schedule for later. If the page already has a pending schedule, the control reads Override schedule.
-
Check the pending entry. Open Advanced features → Scheduled publishing and verify the page and publish time.

The schedule publishes that prepared snapshot at the chosen time.
Saving a draft, publishing immediately, and scheduling for later are separate actions. Before you leave Studio, confirm that the pending schedule exists.
For the full workflow, see the Scheduled Publishing guide.
If the offer changes, update the scheduled version
Suppose you schedule the page on Tuesday. On Thursday, the team changes the offer terms, and you edit the page.
Later unsaved edits do not update the scheduled snapshot.
To include those changes, review the revised page, prepare a new schedule, and override the pending one. Then check the publish time again. Editing the time of an existing schedule is different from replacing its content.
Each page can have one pending schedule. Creating another replaces the existing one. Do not plan a sequence of teaser, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and post-sale versions as though they can all sit in a queue for the same page.
Anyone editing after approval needs to know that the campaign already has a scheduled version. Record the scheduled version and publish time in the campaign ticket so the next editor knows what is set to go live.
Match the page timing to the offer timing
A scheduled page update handles the content shoppers see. The discount still needs its own setup in Shopify.
Before launch, compare the storefront publish time with the offer’s start time and your channel schedules. Write the time zone beside each one. “Midnight Friday” is too easy to interpret differently when the merchant and agency work in different locations.
For the wider checks across discounts, products, email, ads, cart, and checkout, use the Ecommerce Campaign Launch Checklist. Keep that as your campaign QA list.
Check the storefront when the schedule runs
A pending schedule confirms that an update is planned. It does not show what a customer sees after publication.
At the scheduled time, open the public campaign URL and confirm that the approved content has appeared. Follow the main call to action and check that the offer works as advertised.
Assign this check before launch. If the page still shows the teaser or a link takes shoppers to the wrong destination, someone should already know they own the fix.
Prepare the page for the end of the sale, too
Before Black Friday begins, decide what the campaign URL should show after the offer ends. It might return to regular merchandising, point to another collection, or explain that the sale has finished.
Prepare that copy alongside the launch version and assign someone to publish it through your confirmed workflow. Scheduling the opening page update should not be treated as an automatic return to the previous page when the sale ends.
Before launch day, confirm the approved page version, its publish time, and who will check the live URL.
