Careers at Weaverse

Build the future of
Shopify Hydrogen

Weaverse is a visual builder and Studio (CMS) for Shopify Hydrogen — with SDKs, themes, an AI agent, and a growing set of tools around it. We're a small, high-ownership team in Hanoi hiring an AI-first Software Engineer, Product Designer, and Growth Marketer.

Why join Weaverse

We keep things practical: real work, real ownership, a focused working rhythm, and a team that eats lunch and plays games together.

Real ownership

A small, low-bureaucracy team in Hanoi. You own outcomes, not just tickets, and ship work customers actually use.

Learn, AI-native

Grow through real product and customer work with Shopify Hydrogen, React, design, growth, and AI-assisted workflows used responsibly.

Six focused hours

Our working rhythm centers on six hours of focused work, so you can do deep work well instead of just staying busy.

Lunch and games together

Lunch is cooked at the office, and we share team activities and games. It is a small team that actually knows each other.

3 open positions

Open roles

We are hiring Intern, Fresher, Junior, and Middle candidates across part-time and full-time tracks. Each role is AI-first: AI speeds up the work, and your judgment checks it before it ships. At present we are hiring Vietnamese candidates only, and we prefer on-site work at our office in KĐT Dương Nội, Hà Nội.

Now hiring

AI-first Software Engineer

Turn product, design, and customer problems into working software across Weaverse: Hydrogen storefront themes, Weaverse components, the Studio editor, the dashboard, and our SDKs.

AI coding agents are part of the daily workflow. You stay accountable for understanding, reviewing, and verifying every change you ship.

What you will do

  • Build and improve Shopify Hydrogen storefront themes used by real merchants.
  • Create Weaverse components with clear schemas and sensible Studio editing controls.
  • Work in React, React Router, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS with Shopify APIs and the Weaverse SDK.
  • Investigate and fix bugs from customer projects and support threads.
  • Write tests, review pull requests, and verify behavior before a change ships.
  • Keep our public themes and examples clean enough for other developers to learn from.

What we look for

  • Solid JavaScript fundamentals and some hands-on React or TypeScript, from coursework, side projects, or work.
  • You care how the result feels to use, not only whether it compiles.
  • You can explain any code you submit, including code an AI agent helped write.
  • You ask questions early and say clearly when you are stuck.
  • Preferred: working English at a level roughly equivalent to IELTS 6.0 or above (no certificate needed).
  • Junior/Middle: you have shipped in a real codebase and can take a small feature from issue to deployed.

AI-first in practice

  • Use coding agents to explore unfamiliar code, draft implementations, and write tests faster.
  • Read every diff yourself, then run it and check edge cases before asking for review.
  • Treat generated code as untrusted until verified, especially around security, data, and customer stores.
  • Interns and freshers build fundamentals by hand first, then move into the team’s AI-native workflow.

Nice to have

  • Shopify, Hydrogen, or headless commerce experience.
  • Node.js, Express, Prisma, or MySQL.
  • GitHub pull-request and code review experience.
